"Our Pets" (click on it to see a bit larger)

I've finished my painting today. This painting is 30" x 24" - quite a bit larger than the last one I showed you. Of course seeing it small here on screen, I see things that might need to be changed, just slightly. I should probably just stop looking at it for a while. I'm also the very bad at naming my paintings. Any ideas for this one?

Oh...it's wonderful! I wish I had your skill with a paintbrush...it's lovely.

I think the kitty looks regal and wise like a queen with the puppy out side gazing in wishing to be in there next to her...

Blue Curiosity.

I love this piece. The colors, the expressions, the shading and light. It's gorgeous :)
I really appreciate kind words and the title ideas.

Sometimes I come up with a title for a painting even before it's done. Other times I simply cannot come up with anything. And then when I do a series I have a lot of #1, #2, #3...

Nice work! (I think I like the earlier suggestion of "Repose")

Your painting is beautiful. Thanks for submitting it to the Paws for Charity Art Book project! Let me know when you decide on a name for your painting.
thanks for all of your title suggestions but in the end T and I decided to name it simply "Queen Kodi". She does think she rules to household... poor little Evee.

This painting is really beautiful. I really love all the detail you have put into it. The shadow across the kitty's leg, his eyes, the beautiful colors in the sofa, absolutely gorgeous!!! I see u have already picked a name and I do like what you chose. My idea was "Grey's Peace". The kitty looks so peaceful to me and so comfy, and he is inside now and doesn't have to worry about the big dog outside! lol. I do so adore the beautiful grey color of the kitty, and the green eyes have the ability of putting one in a trance!!! Very lovely my friend, great technique, and a quite beautiful subject. take care,
Julian :) oxox
